FOnline: The Life After (Commonly abbreviated as TLA) was the very first game based on the FOnline Engine. It was developed by Cvet, who is also the main coder of the FOnline Engine. It is almost entirely in Russian.

History

  • November to December, 2008 : TLA's Open Beta Test 2 happens.
  • January, 2009 : Closed Beta Test.
  • August 15, 2009 : Open Beta Test 3 starts.

Main differences with FOnline: 2238

FOnline: 2238 is another game based on the FOnline Engine, and TLA has many differences with it.

On FOnline: The Life After...

  • Game is in Russian, which means most of the players there speak Russian or in a Cyrillic-based font, including quests and dialogues, that can hardly be done.
  • Gear is easier to get - including Armors, Weapons, Ammo...
  • You can't buy a base or build a faction.
  • Crafting system is less evolved than in FOnline: 2238.
  • There is no professions system.
  • You can't build a tent.
