"A combination of appearance and charm. A high Charisma is important for characters that want to influence people with words. Modifies: NPC reactions, and barter prices."

Charisma is used for
*Communication with NPCs, some will not talk to you unless you have at least 3 Charisma.
*Is needed to transport Players or followers on the worldmap. (Total charisma − 1 = Number of Players or followers that can be transported at once.)
*Requirement for some quests.
*Charisma also allows you to get better rewards in some of the quests.

Note: You can't have more than 10 Charisma, not even by using drugs.

Tips
Except for Leaders who need 10 in Charisma to transport the highest amount of people or followers possible, Charisma is put at the lowest by many players. Expect when doing quests that require Charisma to complete, it useless except for traveling with other players. If you are not a Leader, lower it to 1, or maybe 3 if you want to trade with NPCs. If you are a scout, very mobile and fast with Outdoorsman, it would be necessary to have 2 or 3 in Charisma, just to be able to transport people quickly in emergency situations, which can happen often, or just as a convenience. If you have a stat point you don't know what to do with, or if you like traveling in groups but you are combative player or otherwise need the Charisma, you can put it to 2. It is recommended for solitary or new players to have 3 Charisma to be able to speak to all the NPCs and have access to traders, quests, etc.

Drugs that affect Charisma
* Beer +1CH
* Mentats +2CH
* Cigarettes -1CH
* Jet -1CH

Carry weight is used to define the quantity of equipment you can carry. Your character can carry a certain weight, depending on his strength. If you want to, gaining more levels you will be able to take the Pack Rat (adding 1/3 to your max weight limit) or the Strong Back (Only one time, adding 22 kilograms too) perks that allow you to carry more objects. *Average strength to maintain range. Each ST point increases your maximum range by +3 hexes. (So with 5 ST you have throwing range of 15 hexes, which is enough for most of the weapons.)
*Heave Ho! perks increase your maximum throwing range over the throwing weapon limits, up to 6 hexes.
*150% in throwing skill is pretty much enough to hit anybody within grenade range (also One Hander trait helps a lot)
*Good amount of action points.
*Abundant supply of grenades or throwing knives.
Note for newcomers: Making this skill your main skill is not a good idea. It will be very hard to find/craft the needed amount of grenades or knives if you are new to FOnline and have no gang/friends yet.
Having 6 or more agility is recommended. With a low agility you won't have lot of action points and won't be able to shoot eyes.
There's are four different kinds of followers, that all has special mechanics, but almost all of them follow the general rules of taking up party points.
Initial number of hit points of a bought follower depends on Charisma and Luck.
These are more like friends, they're more rare but also very useful. They won't die permanently, but respawn at your tent/base/hotel.
Companions will travel around to different towns as wastelanders, and visit mostly bars, but also stay in other places, like shops, or just around in some corner. Companions are both male or female but always humans, and there's a few different weapon types. Companions allow for more customization, you can give them any armor.

Mercenaries
These Mercs are humanoid followers that you can recruit in some towns. They'll demand payment from time to time, or else their loyality falls low, which causes them to flee in combat.

Slaves
Can be obtained by using ropes on certain unconscious NPCs in encounters. They can also be purchased at the Slaver's guild. They require drugs from time to time. You need a Slaver Tattoo to be able to lead slaves.
Dogs, Brahmins and other animals generally act as mules or help in combat, they have a more limited set of functionality in their dialogs.
If not respawn is explicitly set in the dialog, or some option is set, but isn't valid anymore, the replication script will try to find alternative respawns before killing the companion permanently. Once your companion respawns it must be retold where to spawn or it will die permanently next time it is killed regardless of loyalty level.

Loyality
Via Dialogue you can give your followers certain gifts (depending on what type they are) and they contribute to a new factor, the follower loyalty.
When you receive a follower they have a loyality of 100% and this decays 10% each day.

A follower sticks out a fight until it has (100-loyalty)% HP remaining. A 90 HP follower at only 20% loyalty only stays fighting with you until (100-20)% HP remaining = 90*0.8 = 72 HP. As soon as he has 71 or under, he will flee the map.

They use nuka cola, beer, cookie, booze, Strange Iguana-on-a-stick. Each item gives 1-2%.

Slaves
Slaves use jet. 5-10% increase per jet dose.
If slave loyality goes down too low, they may attempt to kill their master.
Charisma is used for
*Communication with NPCs, some will not talk to you unless you have at least 3 Charisma.
*Is needed to transport Players or followers on the worldmap. (Total charisma − 1 = Number of Players or followers that can be transported at once.)

Tips
Endurance is essential for a fighter, especially for the one who has to be at the first fight lines like "Big Guns". It also influences your resistance to not fall on the ground (knock down). Don't put it below 4 (minimum required for the Lifegiver perk) or your life would become hell. Generally, people put it at 6, what allows to have 200 HP at the level 21 with both perks Lifegiver, but the real characters called "tanks" directly go at 10. Anyway, take a Pair number : an odd number would give you, only, 2 HP more at the level 24.

Sneak allows a player to become totally invisible, unless he performs an attack. If he has the Silent Running perk, he can even run while being sneaked, which allows him to infiltrate enemy lines, for example. However, players can see you if you get too close to him, depending on many things (See the Modifiers section for more informations).

Note: You can enter Turn-Based combat sneaked, but you can't enter sneak once Turn-Based combat has started.

Modifiers
Sneak is subject to many modifiers, its mechanics differ from those of Fallout1/2. These modifiers are constantly checked by the game.

* FOV: When your character is out of the opponents Field Of View, the sneak is automatically successful.
* Minimum distance: Up to 3 hexes from opponent, your character is always visible, regardless your sneak skill.
Bonuses
* Occluders: For being next to a wall. 1 hex, or 5 with Ghost perk (can't increase skill above 300% cap): +30%.
* For being hidden behind an object (there is an unpassable scenery between the opponent and the target no more than 2 hexes from the opponent): +60.
* Having active Stealth Boy in one of active slots gives +60% to the Sneak skill. Stealth Boy disappears on use and grants a 20 minutes long Sneak bonus. Consuming more resets the timer to 20 minutes
* Sneak is capped at 300%, after which penalties are applied.

Penalties
* Armor:
** Leather Armor and Leather Armor Mark II: 0
** All metal armors: -72
** All Combat armors: -36
** Powered armors (PA, APA, etc.): Sneak is disabled.
* Weapons:
** -36 for two handed rifle in active slot, -72 for heavy weapons in active slot.
Against an opponent
* Direction - direction of the opponent has big impact, basically, the area around opponent is divided into four parts, and each part modifies your sneak skill value as follows:
** Front: -72
** Front-sides: -36
** Back-sides: -12
** Back: 0
* If your opponent has active motion sensor in an active slot, he will have +2 Perception for the purpose of sneak detection (not capped at 10).

Actions that make you visible again
The following actions may remove your sneak, and make you visible again to your enemies' eyes.

* Attacking.
* Running (If you haven't taken the Silent Running perk).
* Wearing a powered armor, as said above (PA, APA, etc).
* Looting containers and bodies by "take all".
* Looting bodies while sneaked has 50% chance of desneaking.
* Picking up items from the ground while sneaked demands successful steal test. The weight is checked.
* Active Motion Sensor reveals all critters in 15 hexes radius (whether behind a wall or not). It consumes Small Energy Cells and Micro Fusion Cells. Use Science on it to see remaining charges.

Formula
The opponent is invisible whenever its distance from the observer increased by final Sneak/6 is larger than observer's FRONT sight range (regardless of the actual direction).
Fate. Karma. An extremely high or low Luck will affect the character - somehow. Events and situations will be changed by how lucky (or unlucky) your character is.

Luck stat in combat
When pulling the trigger all luck provides is higher critical hit chance.
When you're on the damage receiving end your luck just affects chance to not receive bypass (higher your luck - lesser chance to receive bypass).
Also when you critically miss lower luck means more severe critical miss.

Luck stat related to skills
Luck affects amount of hp healed by FA as well as chance for critical heals and fails.

Luck determines the amount of starting HP of hired mercs.

Tips
Fighters need it, especially if they want to make critical hits. Put it at 10 to maximize your chances. For crafting people, Luck does not have much interest, it is better to dedicate its points in Intelligence.
