'''The Guardians''' is an "Anti-PK" faction, mainly consisting of Finnish and German players.

== Brief Description ==

The Guardians are an Anti-PK faction and rather help newcomers then to shoot them without any reason.
Their bases of operation are located near north cities aswell as down in the south.

Some members also brought new helpful things into the whole community.

== History ==

The first establishment of this faction happened about three wipes ago. Before that time, the finnish and the german players had their own groups. Most germans at that time were in a faction called ''[[Far Go Traders]]'' and some of them played that game since the second (or even first) beta test. At a time when the old ''Far Go Trader'' faction was dying finnish and german players first met and helped each other out a bit. As members vanished away and only some few were left both groups merged into ''The Guardians''.

After the above mentioned [[wipe]] the community grew from day to day and their members went through thick and tin with each other but still the wasteland didn't took much notice about the faction itself. The next wipe came and after that the whole faction was reborn again. New rules, some experience and some new members helped to let it raise quick and to become a bigger gang. At some time after the last wipe ''The Guardians'' consisted of about more than 20 active members.

Nowadays the faction has decreased a bit in numbers, but gained alot of allies and friends in the wastelands.
Also the Guardians combat squads became more experienced and battle hardened, and their help in TC is always appreciated.
If they are not out for the bad guys, several members setup RPs or player driven events such as "Modoc Militia".

Although there were many faction players who coined the faction itself in some way the main objective never changed during time. The Guardians are some kind of Anti-PK faction and rather help newcomers then to shoot them without any reasons. Some members also brought new helpful things into the whole community.

Most german people at that time were in a faction called ''Far Go Traders'' and some of them played that game since the second (or even first) beta test. At a time when the old ''Far Go Trader'' faction was dying finnish and german players first met and helped each other out a bit. As members vanished away and only some few were left both groups merged into ''The Guardians''.

After the above mentioned wipe the community grew from day to day and their members went through thick and tin with each other but still the wasteland didn't took much notice about the faction itself. The next wipe came and after that the whole faction was reborn again. New rules, some experience and some new members helped to let it raise quick and to become a bigger gang. At some time after the last wipe ''The Guardians'' consisted of about more then 20 active members.

Unfortunatly nowadays the faction is shrinking again. People lose interest in the game itself or have to manage their life a bit more. At the moment there are still about 10 active members all in all.
