FOnline: 2238 is another game based on the [[FOnline Engine]], and TLA has many differences with it.

On FOnline: The Life After...
* Game is in Russian, which means most of the players there speak Russian or in a Cyrillic-based font, including quests and dialogues, that can hardly be done.
* Gear is easier to get - including [[Armors]], [[Weapons]], [[Ammo]]...
* You can't buy a [[base]] or build a [[faction]].
* [[Crafting]] system is less evolved than in FOnline: 2238.
* There is no [[professions]] system.
* You can't build a [[tent]].
