A long exposure on radiations will eventually turn an human into a [[ghoul]], or into a dead corpse. It will depend on the biology of each person. The mutating process takes months, or years. They are repulsive, despite they are as smart as any human. They live longer than normal humans. They are also immune to most forms of radiations remaining in [[the world]].

Ghouls settled to a few places around the wasteland. [[Necropolis]], at first, was the ghoul's home, but the town got destroyed by [[the Master]]'s army. Most of ghouls managed to escape and moved to the town of [[Broken Hills]] or [[Gecko]], that is ghouls-friendly since [[Harold]] is ruling it and that the Poseidon Power Plant is in the town, providing a sweet and warm radiation dose to nearby ghouls... They love it :) They suffer from problems with the [[Vault City]] politics, though, that makes the town dying.

Some ghouls have suffered a very huge radiation exposure, and by that time they glow in the dark. They are supposed to emit radiations, but they do not (yet ?) in [[FOnline: 2238]]. They are occasionally considered as outsiders by normal ghouls, and are often banned by them. Such things do not happen in the biggest ghouls communities.
