They can be sometimes persuaded by [[Player-driven factions|factions']] leaders to settle in their [[base|outpost]], and provide their services as gatherers. They can be usualy found in '''Farmers''' and '''Homesteaders''' encounters.

Take your PvP(PvE) character and find encounter near [[Klamath]]/[[Den]] or [[Redding]] and give [[radio]] signal to another player that will come with [[Player-driven factions|faction]] leader and 5000 [[caps]].

Well howdy there, stranger! The name's ol' Luke Thomas, I'm a farmer here in town. But if it doesn't rain soon, I'll be out of a job.

You offer him a work on your base.

Then he says that he owns some money to people in the town. So you have to help him to pay. Prepare 5000 caps

== Provided services ==
If you persuade him and pay his debt, he is teleported to your base. There anyone from your faction can ask him to gather something. He will gather only once per game-day.

* Collect some [[Scorpion Tails]] for us. [5x]
** He needs 1x [[Sharpened Spear]]. Is not used in the proces.
* Harvest some [[fruit]] for us. [20x]
** He needs nothing.
* Collect some [[fibers]] for <lexem not found>. (bug) [22x]
** He needs 1x [[Knife]]. Is not used in the proces.
* Chop us some [[wood]].
** He needs 3x [[Empty Water Bag]].
* Go and hunt some Small Geckos.
** He needs 2x [[Hunting Rifles]] and 10x [[.223 FMJ]]. Ammo is used in the proces. Weapon does not deteriorate.
* Hunt some Golden Geckos for me.
** He needs 2x [[Assault Rifles]] and 30x [[5mm JHP]] or [[5mm AP]]. Ammo is used in the proces. Weapon does not deteriorate.
