You don't have time to aim for a targeted attack, because you attack faster than normal people. It costs you one less action point for guns and thrown weapons.
Note: Fast Shot trait works only with weapon modes that have aimed shot capability. A mode is the way the weapon fires (single, burst, thrust, etc).
For those who do not understand that, ask yourself this: "Can the weapon mode I am using do aimed shots?"
- If so, then Fast Shot will affect that particular weapon mode.
- If not, then Fast Shot will not affect that particular weapon mode.
For example, take the 10mm SMG. The "single" mode of that gun can do aimed shots, so therefore Fast Shot affects that mode. However, the "burst" mode of the 10mm SMG cannot do aimed shots, therefore Fast Shot does not affect that mode.
