This is popular amongst newer or solo players since they usually don't have much when they start the game. From Hub's main gate, run south and find ____ standing near a brahmin pen. Ask him about work and he should give you this job and a free shovel.
Shoveling poo is not hard but there are a few important tricks. Do not block any gates! Equip a shovel in one of your two weapon slots "USE" it on a poo. Shovels can be used as tools (green cursor) and they can be used as weapons (red cursor), so make sure you use a shovel properly. If you block a gate or accidentally attack a cow, you'll be shot.
