Critical Chance is the probability of scoring a Critical Hit on a target.

Calculating Critical Chance

  • Basic critical chance equals your Luck.
  • Add 10% if you take Finesse
  • Add 5% for each level of More Critical (can be taken up to 3 times)
  • Add up to 60% for Aimed Shots (depends on aimed body part and Luck)

Critical hit to a body part

  • A critical hit into the eyes or head can instantly bring you to 0 HP (no matter how much HP you have).
  • A critical hit into the eyes can blind you, knock you down, make you lose your next turn, or blind you.
  • A critical hit to a leg can knock you down or cripple your leg.
  • A critical hit to the groin can knock you down or out.
  • A critical hit to an arm can cripple it, or make you drop your weapon.

Note: The related perk Better Criticals only affects how a successful critical would hit on the target (gives you a better chance of crippling, knocking down, etc...), but it doesn't affect your critical chance.
