Damage Threshold (DT) is a combat statistic that will reduce any damage taken by this amount. Damage threshold can be increased by wearing armor or taking the Toughness perk.
Damage Threshold reduces damages before the Damage Resistance. If you wear armor with 2 DT (Like the Leather Armor), it will reduce damage taken by 2. Note that armors feature a different Damage Threshold (And Damage Resistance) number for each type of damages taken (Normal, Electrical, Laser, Fire, etc.).
