Critical Chance is probability of scoring Critical Hit on target.
Calculating Critical Chance
- Basic crit rate equals your Luck.
- Add 10% if you take Finesse
- Add 5% for each level of More Critical (can be take up to 3 times)
- Up to 60% for Aimed Shot (depends on aimed body part and Luck)
It is possible to build a character who's crit chance would be 95% with an aimed shot. Such characters are usually supposed to be "cripplers".
Critical hit into a body part
Critical hit into the eyes can instantly kill you (no matter how much HP you have), can blind you, can knock you down, make you lose your next turn or cripple you.
Critical hit into a leg or groin can knock you down or cripple your leg.
Critical hit into an arm can cripple it or make you drop your weapon.
Note: related perk Better Criticals only affects how a successful critical would hit on the target (gives you a better chance of crippling, knocking down, etc...), but it doesn't affect your critical chance.
