While sneaking, if you attack a critter from behind, you will always cause a critical hit with a +10 bonus on the roll. Silent Death is that kind of perk.

Note: Silent Death only works for players that are either unarmed or equipped with a one-handed weapon set to single-shot mode.

Note: Since Changelog 28/06/2012 Silent Death works with 14mm and .223 pistols.
