The Laser damage resistance is a combat statistic. Any laser damage done to a player or critter is first reduced by a percentage (laser Damage Resistance) and by a set amount (laser Damage Threshold). Laser damage is done by lasers. Only half of the Energy Weapons are lasers: Solar Scorcher, Laser Pistol, Laser Rifle, etc.
Every armor has a DR and DT for each damage type and it is mostly through armors that a player can increase his DR and DT statistics.
Other damage types:
- Normal.
- Fire.
- Plasma.
- Explode.
- Electrical.
