Deterioration, from Latin deteriorare "to make worse", from deterior "lower, worse".

In terms of weapons, it means how much the weapon has been used, and thus more likely to be broken or miss more often.

Scaling

  • 0% = freshly created, unused weapon.
  • 100% = weapon is completely worn out, and needs fixing.

Note: Most players consider weapons over 20% not worth using or buying.

Fixing

  • You can decrease the deterioraiton by performing Repair on the weapon - but it is recommended that this is done by a player with a Repair skill (over 100%).
  • Failing in fixing will make weapon worse, so it's sort of a gamble.
