Hotel rooms can be rented in towns by talking to the hotel roomkeeper. Once you have a hotel room, you will respawn in it instead of a random respawn point. Your room is secure, as long as you keep the door closed - nobody can lockpick the door and it resists explosions. The amount of rooms is limited and if there are no free ones, the roomkeeper will say so.
