Fallout 2
Fallout is a computer role-playing game developped by Black Isle Studios and produced by Tim Cain. The game was released in 1998. Players use to like this opus more than the previous one, due to the biggest world where your character can travel, and the numerous characters that you can talk with. It's a game you can finish without killing anybody. Its main designers were Matt Norton, Chris Avellone, and Feargus Urquhart. FOnline:2238 takes place 2 years earlier than Fallout 2.
Gameplay
Fallout 2's gameplay is very similar to Fallout's one.

The game begins in 2241, 80 years after the end of Fallout. The player character is a villager in Arroyo, a village built by Fallout 1's Vault Dweller himself, who is also his ancester. Arroyo suffers from a drought, and send the player character, known as the Chosen One, outside of the village to search a G.E.C.K., Garden of Eden Creation Kit, a device meant to recreate cities in the Wasteland after the Great War. Most of the Vaults had a G.E.C.K., and as the game goes forward, the Chosen One will have to investigate some, to get his precious device that would save his village. When the Chosen One eventually finds a G.E.C.K. in Vault 13, he comes back to Arroyo and finds his village captured by the Enclave. After many adventures, the player character uses an old tanker to reach the Enclave's oil rig, to free the villagers and Vault 13 citizens, killing the presidents and eventually killing the president's bodyguard, Frank Horrigan - Fallout 2's end boss. In the end, Vault 13 and Arroyo inhabitants create a new prosperous community with the help of the G.E.C.K.
