Also known as an Outdoorsman's camp, the Safe House is a better alternative to a tent, but can only be constructed by those with the Ranger support perk.
It consists of a small shack instead of a tent and has a few more containers. The maps are equal to that of a tent, including the campfire. Everything that goes for a tent also goes for a Safe House, including how to build one by using the Science skill on 10 brahmin hides. Note that a tent that was previously made before this perk was obtained will not automatically turn into a Safe House, and making a Safe House will still delete your old tent.
Contents
- The shack has a door which you can lock.
- There is a workbench inside.
- The shack has three containers: a toolboard above the workbench, a small cabinet to the right of the workbench, and a wooden chest at the end of the bed.
Requirements
- Support perk Ranger (which requires 100 Outdoorsman)
- 10 brahmin hides for each time you build it.
