Radiation resistance reduces the rate at which your character receives radiation. Rad-X can improve radiation resistance, and can be taken twice to get up to the maximum of 95% radiation resistance.
The perk Rad Resistance improves your radiation resistance by 15%.
Radiation can be cured over time by using RadAway, or by paying a doctor in one of the cities.
Geiger Counter
A Wattz Electronics C-Radz model Geiger Counter. Detects the presence and strength of radiation fields.
A Geiger Counter can be used to measure the radiation level in a person. A mercenary's radiation level can also be measured, if one puts the Geiger counter under where the merc is standing.
Your radiation level becomes lethal once you hit 1800 rads. After you die, you will still be radiated with a rad level of just below 1800 rads.
