- You can shovel shit in San Francisco, since there is a brahmin pen near the main entrance. A beginner or a low-level player may earn his first caps and XP here. You can also be hired to lift caravan boxes.
- San Francisco also contains some quests.

- You can rent hotel rooms there, at the docks.
- The FLC banking service, located in the northern east of china town.
