[edit] A few words about the weapon

  • It is the only weapon (for now) that has electrical type of damage (along with regular Cattle Prod of course).
  • SCP is most efficient against Metal Armor and Metal Armor Mark II because it deals 100% damage to the wearer of the first and a bit reduced (10/1 DR/DT) to the wearer of the second.
  • Just good weapon for PvP and PvE (animals usually have low electrical resistance).

  • Electrical resistance can not be boosted by Drugs, so SCP deals the same amount of damage to Psycho-drugged as it would to non-drugged. All other melee weapons have Normal type of damage, so killing druggies in good armor without use of SCP becomes very hard task for melee fighter.
  • Electrical resistance is (in average) lower than or equal to Normal resistance of Armors (with one exception).

  • Players usually do not sell this too (because energy experts usually have no need in it - they craft shooting things for themselves or for their friends/gang members).
  • To craft it you should get Profession: Energy Expert:2, which needs good Char Point (Intelligence) and Skill Point (Energy Weapons & Science) investments, which are not always acceptable for melee character.

Good part:

  • If you decided to get Profession: Energy Expert - the crafting of SCP will be pretty easy (for high level chars only, because you will still need to get some high-quality resources from unprotected mines).
  • You can always try to find some energy experts in well-populated cities and ask to make one for you (of course this will cost good amount of caps).
  • If you are member of one of the Player-driven factions, you can always ask friends to make one for you. If you aren't, you can always join one.
