The Guardians

The Guardians Header.

The Guardians is an "Anti-PK" faction, mainly consisting of Finnish and German players.

Brief Description

The Guardians are an Anti-PK faction and rather help newcomers then to shoot them without any reason. Their bases of operation are located near north cities aswell as down in the south.

Some members also brought new helpful things into the whole community.

History

The first establishment of this faction happened about four wipes ago. Before that time, the finnish and the german players had their own groups. Most germans at that time were in a faction called Far Go Traders and some of them played that game since the second (or even first) beta test. At a time when the old Far Go Trader faction was dying finnish and german players first met and helped each other out a bit. As members vanished away and only some few were left both groups merged into The Guardians.

After the above mentioned wipe the community grew from day to day and their members went through thick and tin with each other but still the wasteland didn't took much notice about the faction itself. The next wipe came and after that the whole faction was reborn again. New rules, some experience and some new members helped to let it raise quick and to become a bigger gang. At some time after the last wipe The Guardians consisted of about more than 20 active members.

Nowadays the faction has decreased a bit in numbers, but gained alot of allies and friends in the wastelands. Also the Guardians combat squads became more experienced and battle hardened, and their help in TC is always appreciated. If they are not out for the bad guys, several members setup RPs or player driven events such as "Modoc Militia".

Active Members

• Opera - Crazy coder, his Character Planner and the Fallout Encounter Finder made him well known throughout the community.
• Perserepe - Another crazy Finn, always looking for booze and films and "metal" parts.
• Solttu - He was the one who made the first contact between Germans and Finns.
• Balthasar - former Far Go Trader and Leader of The Guardians, naive guy who still thinks its possible to turn the wasteland into some better place.
• Andr3aZ - If theres a picture to describe him it would probably be pencils and cigarettes. He's a noble artist and community contributor.
• OdijSuppi - One of the few good souls out there. Always willing to help out and to support the team.
• Fridge Man - A nice fellow. Cool as his name and calm like a sheep, until he gets his hand on his BG char and some psycho.
• Klot - He is young, he is pride and he doesn't need the money, always good for a late night fun conversation.
• Desaster - You can count on him when things get hot. Then he pops out from the darkness in the right moment to get things started.
• Bert - If you want something to be done right, he's your man. Some would say he's a crafter, some would say he's a hard working man and others might say he's a true scavenger. They all probably would be right.
• BlueRaider - former Far Go Trader and also one of the good souls within the wasteland.
• Madmasterx - True teamplayer plus he has the Adrenaline Rush Perk IRL. Better don't try to lower his HP or you will regret it.
• Django - One of the oldest member and a wise man who knows when to talk and when to shoot.
• coventry - fromer Far Go Trader. Crazy Austrian crafter, all he needs is some mats and a bit time and after some days the whole base is filled up with tons of goods.

Inactive and Former Members

• Pfund - Another pound of fresh meat. Already hard-earned his first battle experiences with the faction and has proven as tough enough.
• Bear - former Far Go Trader and in Tag Team with BlueRaider, both are not really active at the moment.
• Rasvareino - One of the founders of our faction. Is not active anymore, but still seen sometimes on IRC.
• CChoc - The (new) Repair King (after Martin Blues wasn't active anymore) and big supporter of the faction in general.
• Take Care - former GVN member, every faction should have a "Take Care" on their side.
• Winston Wolf - former Far Go Trader, don't get in trouble with him and better dont be a PK if you meet him, because he will hit you hard.
• Nexxos - text text text text Now happily living GM-life, and not in Guardians at the moment.
• OL - Dont get confused by his name, he is one of our youngsters. Not only a Doc that could mess with Myron, but a sturdy soldier too. Also, meanwhile his skills as mapper raised a lot.
• Martin Blues - He is the living realization of Mr. Fixit.

Membership

If you want to take part you should either speak finnish or german and of course english. We don't accept Player Killers and/or insulting people.
