FOnline: 2238 is another game based on the FOnline Engine, and TLA has many differences with it.

On FOnline: The Life After...

  • Game is in Russian, which means most of the players there speak Russian or in a Cyrillic-based font, including quests and dialogues, that can hardly be done by english-only speakers. Translated dialogues are in development.
  • Gear is easier to get - including Armors, Weapons, Ammo...
  • You can't buy a base or build a faction.
  • Crafting system is less evolved than in FOnline: 2238.
  • There is no professions system.
  • You can't build a tent, but there is a bank in every major city, where you can store/take your items for 100 caps each time you visit.
