Hey thanks for asking - i got heavily radiated and deducted these numbers by paying attention to changes as i reduced my rads using [[RadAway]]: It took 1 RadAway (and went AFK) which reduced my rads by 150 and which restored my SPECIAL but both indicators were still on. The next RadAway removed 25 more rads and the main indicator, then the remaining 42 rads and the minor indicator. Thus was able to conclude that the 2nd indicator comes on somewhere between 42 and 67. The most reasonable guess is 50. Once Geiger counters are fixed, i will edit this if it turns out i am wrong. -Marko

'''UPDATE''': I have confirmed some info about radiation poisoning. 50/200 are the correct numbers. Additionally, one loses 4 SPECIAL points somewhere between 365 and 390 rads, so i am guessing at 375. Again, i'll keep watching this and make micro-corrections as needed. 1. Someone with the knowledge should check all the ways as to what exactly causes the radiation. Obviously, going in the map cause cause it, but I heard that just standing in encounters near the Glow or the post-Cathedral Crater can give the radiated status as well. Possibly just by staying on the world map, but I'm even less sure of this.
2. Also, in reply to "if you feel the need to rewrite something that doesn't need rewriting, at least do it in proper English, thanks." -- Jovanka's description was more clear that just saying "the wrong place"... you should stop being rude.
3. I am pretty sure that Fruit is the only consumable that gives radiation, so the e.g. is most likely unnecessary. But I am not sure of this. It would probably best to give every scenario where one can get radiation, anyway. Some of my thoughts. --Ganado 21:56, 8 May 2012 (CEST)

1) That is all correct, and goes under the common label of 'visiting the wrong place'
2) Frankness ≠ rudeness
3) An update may come any second and more radioactive eatables might be added; by listing fruit as only one example, we account for that possibility ensuring that no further changes to the article are needed should that be the case. Plus, doesn't drinking booze/gamma gulp beer give you a few rads?
