Special encounter is a random encounter that is unique in some ways. In Fallout 1 or Fallout 2 special encounters were strongly influenced by pop culture and often full of humor.
In FOnline: 2238, special encounters mostly consist of unusual maps with valuable goods.

Note: Special encounters are not fixed to a certain zone.

Note: They also aren't one time only. Meaning you can find more than one Abandoned Howitzer with the same character.
