Basic info
The easiest way of getting one is by killing raiders. Also, you can get this weapon by Crafting, but it does have high requirements. You can also get this weapon by trading with merchants.
Tactics
While in a team, a FN FAL user is in infantry role, dealing very good amount of damage in mid-range. The 7.62 will go through most mid-tier armors, while still doing good damage to unarmored opponents.
A similar weapon is the Assault Rifle which does less damage and 2 more bullets per burst while having a choice of ammo and better range.
Advantages
Good damage, light, single and burst modes.
Disadvantages
7.62 ammo can be hard to find.

Can be upgraded to FN FAL HPFA
